AGUP PHASE 2 – LEAD INSTRUMENT & ICSS ENGINEER \M/F

MISSIONS & ACTIVITIES
MAIN MISSIONS
• To be the referent for the ICSS, instrumentation, and telecom disciplines of the CPF-2.
• Manage the ICSS, Instrumentation, and Telecom detailed engineering activities of the CPF-2 EPSCC
contract, and ensure the compliance of the engineering with approved SOR and Company standards.
• Liaise with the Network and Wellpads Package (NWP) engineering team for the design and integration of
ICSS and Telecom scope related to NWP Package.
• Manage the Instrumentation and Telecom engineers by providing technical expertise, coordination of
discipline activities, and coaching.
• Liaise with TotalEnergies headquarters (TEC) for assistance and deviation resolution as required.
• Participate in the procurement technical preparation and assist the Procurement discipline during all
procurement phases.
• Attend the ICSS FAT and SAT, organize necessary Company attendees (process, safety, operations), and
ensure a clear handover dossier is provided to the site supervision team.
• Provide technical advice and support to instrumentation field engineering or construction supervision.
• Comply with HSE requirements and support/enforce HSE Project objectives and directives.
• Participate in tender assessments, clarifications with bidders, and other related discipline activities.
• Contribute to Instrument & ICSS philosophy development at the conceptual engineering phase.
• Continuously engage in identification and technical discussions on AGUP interfaces.
• Be responsible for the quality review of FEED documentation in the instrument discipline and other
disciplines as applicable; verify comments are returned without delay and with required quality.
• Review and propose responses to letters, technical queries, and deviation requests for project
management approval. Lead exchanges with HQ experts on project derogation requests in the
instrumentation discipline.
• Ensure the implementation of Pre-Project requirements frozen per SOR and other key documents.
• Expedite Contractors to issue deliverables with the right quality level as per the approved MDRs.
Regularly assess the progress of Contractor deliverables by reviewing MDRs for the discipline.
• Coordinate HQ Project Review preparation and manage applicable responses for Instrumentation and ICSS.
• Review and comment on vendor documents assigned to his team and assist project engineers in
technical problem-solving. Attend vendors' meetings as required.
• Cooperate with field operation representatives/team.
• Organize weekly coordination meetings for his discipline with the CONTRACTOR(s).
• Report weekly team activities performed and attend coordination meetings.
KEY ACTIVITIES
• Lead the definition of the Instrument and ICSS discipline FEED execution scope, applicable international norms, and standards, as well as Company rules and specifications.
• Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company "Code of Conduct" and HSE rules and regulations. Implement HSE rules/requirements within responsibility areas and comply with HSE training requirements. Promote a safety culture and ensure quality inspections are conducted safely.
• Provide strong HSSE leadership and define/ensure effective implementation of the Project HSSE policy and commitment by providing necessary resources.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Agreements were signed by TotalEnergies in Iraq to enhance development of the country’s natural
resources. The GGIP project, located in the Basra region, is a 5-in-1 project:
The Associated Gas Upstream Project Phase 1 (AGUP1): Enhancing Ratawi oil field production
through infrastructure upgrades and new export pipelines, in addition to gas export and process
facilities (AG25).
The Associated Gas Upstream Project Phase 2 (AGUP2): Enhancing Ratawi oil field production to
210 kbpd with a new CPF and additional development wells.
The Gas Midstream Project (GMP): Valorizing gas from Ratawi, Majoon, and Al Qurna West-2 (Phase
I) oil fields.
The Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP): A major water-injection project supporting long-term
production for several fields in South Iraq. TotalEnergies' involvement is limited to the seawater
treatment plant construction.
The Solar Power Plant (SPP): A major solar project (PV plant of 1250 GW DC), producing power
(1000 GW AC) to be injected into the grid.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Adhere to all company requirements – stated in SOR, technical safety specifications, and relevant
international standards.
• Lead the Instrument & ICSS team:
- Oversee, review, and approve contractor Instrument & ICSS engineering documents.
- Participate in Instrument & ICSS reviews and related activities for CPF2 packages.
• Support the CPF2 Package Manager and CPF2 Engineering Manager by focusing on quality, compliance,
and continuous improvement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of experience as ICSS/Instrument engineer in Oil and Gas projects with significant
experience managing Instrument & ICSS roles.
• Capable of effectively managing all project lifecycle stages (FEED, Basic Engineering, Procurement,
Fabrication, Installation, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning).
Experience in Similar Position:
• 10 years in middle/large-scale upstream projects in an ICSS/instrument engineer role.
Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of international codes and standards related to Instruments, ICSS, and telecom.
• Familiarity with TotalEnergies standards for ICSS & Instrumentation systems.
Level/Diploma:
• Degree in Engineering, or lawyer.
Languages:
• Fluency in English.
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills.
• High problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Collaborative approach in multicultural environments.

2. EPC Offices in UAE (engineering & execution phase).

Starting Date: 1/10/2025
Missions to Iraq: Yes, 1 week every three months (approx. 20 days/year + travel).
Expected First Mission to Iraq: January 2026
